Dynamic Active Mapping where everything is a dynamic object !

Zonify Live is an active mapping platform, I will try to explain exactly what it is and what it can do in the content below.

Active Dynamic Mapping with CCTV live feeds

This is a quick example of how we can load multiple live camera feeds while also showing an active fire event as shown by the detector and floor zone changing colour,

If you have a live feed available for testing feel free to share, were always looking to try different camera's, different manufacturers, etc.

The more testing we can do the quicker we will sign off on a section of development and priorities our time to another area.

Active CCTV Camera's in an instant !

The latest code updates allow CCTV live feeds to be added to CCTV camera's so its not a case of select and view, if the stream is broken it will resume so you can see the live camera views on site anytime simply be clicking !

Let's take a look at "Dynamic" and what it means in Zonify Live

In Zonify Live everything is an object in a site map and nothing is statically drawn on to the site map like you would find in a hard coded mapping system.

In Zonify Live we don't use static imagery so if your looking for a static mapping system where you cant actually update things yourself I would stop reading now because Zonify Live is a platform that I don't believe anyone has ever tried to develop it's certainly on it's own in the realms of mapping.

In the design view any object can be dragged into location on the site map and you simply build your site map using these objects.

Want to know what "Active" means for Zonify Live?

In Zonify Live as you know everything is an object and any object can also be an active object, you can actually have around 10,000 active objects on a single site map.

When a dynamic object is also an active object it means the object can show different status icons and or colours like a detector on a fire panel shown a fire activation status and the floor of the zone that the detector is in to highlight to indicate this zone is in fire Zonify Live can do this in real time as you watch the site map.

Why develop Zonify Live ?

The idea behind Zonify Live is that it will mimic systems and devices on site with the ability to have unlimited floors, unlimited sites and you can have over 10,000 active objects on a single site map plus you have the ability to pan and zoom into the detail of the site map.

The development is currently working around Fire Systems but it will move into other disciplines, remember how we say its fully dynamic this gives us the unique ability to add more systems and more devices into the platform at any time and it will instantly become available to be used as objects we don't actually have to write any additional code to add more dynamic objects as its all dynamic !

But remember not every object will be used as an active object, like scenery where you want to do an "As is" type of design where these objects are there just to make a more realistic design, we don't believe every site map should be a line drawing with dots that change colour.

Engineer Maintenance Visits ?

Let me walk you through a glimpse of Zonify Live,

You know how we will show different events on active objects, what if we took that information and started to build a database of events, then add engineer visits and added that data like when a device was changed and when it was last activated and any issues we would have a lot of data.

Data that could be used for sales and marketing, engineers visits so they can see the history and see any patterns that might exists, it actually adds a lot of detail that currently remains hidden from view.

The data would already be there to graphically see what detector is in which location by that I mean a site map can be an "As is" layout so if your looking for camera 21 or detector 31 you could instantly locate it on the Zonify Live site map allowing engineers to instantly know where a detector is located which saves a lot of time walking around site, you know all those detectors in ceilings you can actually add them into a site map so maintenance visits you know exactly where to locate the detector.

Data is a powerful tool and Zonify Live, will be looking to utilise all this data in a variety of different ways.

I have previously shown a system like this could show 3D zoomable views of fire panels and actually update the view with the LED's highlighting to indicate issues as you view the 3D panel, or CCTV camera's where you can click on a camera and the camera view pops up to show a live view.

Yes I have actually developed this platform before so all these features are possible.....

What about Live CCTV footage directly from the active site map ?

The animation below is an example of how we are able to view a live CCTV feed directly from the active site map, the idea is we apply a link to a camera and you can simply view the live feed from the camera so every camera on the active site map could have a live feed, visit another floor or another site and you can then view any camera's on any plan.

The animation was a very quick view, in honesty I had to snap the recording while there was movement on the camera, its actually a Reolink door bell camera but any CCTV camera would of worked.

Remember its dynamic so once the code is fully implemented its a then just a case of configuring it and it will work.

The other option then is to give a search tool so you can easily locate a camera on the site simply by searching so engineers visiting site can instantly see which camera and where its located if they need to resolve a fault, you could of course also add switch gear so their location is clearly visible.

This is Zonify Live and this is why we like to think of it as Active Dynamic mapping !! We don't do line drawings with blue dots or even red dots we do fully graphical mapping !
